Nature, Nurture, Faith, Hope, and Love - An Aromatic Walk with God

Nature is behind every aromatic plant, herb, root, tree, leaf, flower, fruit, spice, and seed. Only a tiny amount of nature is distilled from the 380,000 approximate plant species on Earth. Essential oils and the plants from which they are derived are nurturing, protecting, and healing. In life, we are either walking away from something or towards something. Hope is an optimistic state of mind based on expecting positive outcomes concerning events and circumstances in one's life or the world. Faith is a belief and trust in God based on evidence but without total proof. Faith is something that all religions have in common, and believing that something greater than ourselves exists. It is said that the love of God is at the Heart of all things, and between faith, hope, and love, the greatest of these is Love. In this presentation, we will not debate if God exists. Instead, we will look at the facts regarding our aromatic world and why these plants exist in the first place. The story of fragrance as it relates to biblical times and how there has been a continuous use of fragrance throughout history. We co-exist with nature and have evolved alongside nature from the beginning. There is a receptor for every aromatic molecule guiding, adjusting, and shaping our minds, hearts, and souls. Aromatic plants may not be everything, but they are chemical messengers that help us find balance and wake us up to much more than we can see, including faith. Call it science, biology, evolution, or God. There is something here to explore and find peace within.
